Sant Gervasi
The neighborhood of Sant Gervasi was annexed to Barcelona in 1897. Its proximity to Collserola meant that in the 19th century the Barcelona bourgeoisie set up their second homes there. Sant Gervasi has a very rich architectural heritage: from the stately houses to the mixture of styles of Santa Maria de la Bonanova or the convent of Valldonzella.
It was conceived as a large garden city with Tibidabo Avenue as the main axis. The green areas are the jewel in the crown of the neighborhood. Connects directly with the Collserola mountain, and whas some of the best hospitals and universities in Barcelona such as Clínica Teknon, Abat Oliva CEU University, La Salle Bonanova, ESIC, UIC, IQS...
