The best monuments, restaurants, beaches, areas, and places in Barcelona to enjoy from an afternoon of shopping, culture, culinary indulgence, partying, or simply relaxing, whether alone or accompanied by one of the Haaus Coliving roommates.
1. The center
2. L'Eixample and surrounding areas
4. Gracia neighborhood
5. Tibidabo and the Collserola mountain

1. The center
For the Barcelona people, although it is not the geographical center, it is usually located in the stretch between Plaza Cataluña and La Barceloneta. Although Barcelona's beaches are not known for being the most beautiful in Catalonia, the Barceloneta neighborhood (and surrounding area) is full of life and leisure and is a must to visit during your Coliving experience in Barcelona.
Visiting this area involves a walk down through Las Ramblas, the Mercat de la Boquería, the Cathedral of Barcelona, El Liceu, the Plaça Reial, the Estatua de Colón, the Rambla del Mar, el Port of Barcelona, and all the coastal area between the W Hotel and the Mapfre Towers, which keep behind the spectacular Parc de la Ciutadella or the Arc de Triomf.

During this tour you can also try the famous Chocolate con Churros at Petritxol (you have a 50% off voucher for being a member of Haaus Coliving), eat the 1786 menu at Can Culleretes (one of the oldest and most typical Catalan restaurants), have a good pint of Claudia at Black Lab (their best known IPA beer), or eat one of the contemporary vegan dishes at The Green Spot (they have the best vegan chorizo we have ever tasted).
In the port area you can also party at Opium or play a game of poker at the Casino de Barcelona.
Take a look at our apartment in Ferran street or Guardia street in the center of Barcelona (Barri Gòtic and Raval) to enjoy the most visited area of Barcelona!
2. L'Eixample and surrounding areas
It is a grid neighborhood, and is quite large, but within it are jewels such as La Sagrada Familia, La Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, La Casa de les Punxes, La Plaza de Toros Monumental ... the area with the greatest architectural interest is called "La Dreta de L'Eixample".

We recommend renting a bike and riding along Avinguda Diagonal, Paseo de Gracia, Rambla de Catalunya, Carrer Casp, Carrer Bruc, Carrer Roger de Lluria, to enjoy the modernist, neo-gothic and contemporary architecture of these streets to the fullest.
Take a look at our Casanova apartment or the Urgell one in L'Eixample neighborhood to enjoy the beautiful Modernist area of Barcelona!

Being an urban area, you will obviously also find hundreds of restaurants and nightclubs to go out. Some of our recommendations for tapas or snacks are El Velódromo or Entrepanes Díaz. If you want to eat you can try an authentic Pollo a l'Ast at A Pluma (although our favorite is their fried chicken), or if you want to have dinner with a show you can go to Gatsby and finally end the night with a party at Sutton or Bling Bling.
3. Montjuïc
Montjuïc is one of the most charming places in Barcelona. It is actually a mountain overlooking the city and the sea (on its south side) full of parks, monuments, museums, spaces and restaurants. At the top of the mountain is the Palau Nacional, which since 1934 houses the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC). It is certainly one of the must-see if you are visiting Barcelona as the route from Plaça Espanya, passing through the Venetian Towers, continuing along the Font Màgica to the MNAC is stunning, and you can enjoy one of the best sunsets in Barcelona, looking at the Collserola mountain while listening to some of the street musicians playing just below the stairs of the museum.

Montjuïc is actually a mountain overlooking the city and the sea, full of parks, monuments, museums, spaces and restaurants.
And if that wasn't enough, Montjuïc also hosts some of the best parties in Barcelona, such as the Brunch-in the city at Poble Espanyol. Enjoy!

4. Gracia neighborhood
The neighborhood of the young and not so young people of Barcelona. A neighborhood with a lot of charm, which looks like a small town by having a lot of intimate life in its streets. It is also full of bars, restaurants and squares where people gather to enjoy the weather and good atmosphere of Barcelona. It is famous for the decoration of the streets in their festivities and for the amount of leisure and gastronomic offerings for young and not so young people.

Some of our recommendations to eat in Gracia are El Disbarat (traditional Catalan food, embers...), Kitsune (sushi) or Xàtiva (rice and paellas).
Don't miss out our apartment in the Gracia neighborhood to enjoy the most towny area of Barcelona!
5. Tibidabo and the Collserola mountain
Barcelona is one of the best cities in the world to live a coliving experience as you always have something to do with your colivers. You have both sea and mountains in the same city, so hiking the Collserola mountain, running along La Carretera de les Aigües surrounded by wild boars, or visiting the Tibidabo mountain (you'll probably need to take a funicular to get up there), is one of the best things to do. Take a look at our penthouse in the Sant Gervasi neighborhood to enjoy the most of the upper area of Barcelona!

From the Carretera de Les Aigües or from Tibidabo you will see a panoramic view of the whole city of Barcelona while enjoying a natural setting with a spectacular Mediterranean climate. Let's see how many wild boars you find!
The wild boar is one of the emblematic animals of the Collserola mountain and Barcelona, and the largest mammal in the area.
